The jacket cover for this book was produced by Rosie Smith Goins, a school friend of the author.  She is an expert digital scrapbooker and crafter.  The author knew what she wanted, but did not know how to make it happen.  Rosie did!

The background for the cover is a handwritten recipe for an impossibly complicated fruitcake which was shared with Geneva when she was a young bride first living in Anniston, Alabama in 1941.  It is said to have come from “old Miss Noble” a member of Anniston’s founding family.  It is included in the book.

The photo of Geneva was made when she was between 35 and 40 years old.
